PERIFANIA SCHOOL OF HELLENIC MUSIC & DANCE
The highly decorated, international award winning Perifania School of Hellenic Music & Dance was founded in 2007 with the sole purpose of passing down the history, customs and traditions of Hellenistic Culture through research and instruction. This non-profit group not only conducts field research on each of the vast regions they represent in performance, but also holds an enormous collection of authentic costumes, many of which are from the revolution of 1821 making this group a living and breathing museum.
From the ages of 6 and up, each of Perifania’s dance squads are taught starting from the most basic steps, to the most intricate as well as the history behind each and every movement.
Directors and owners Dimitrios Dallas and his wife Vasiliki Dallas are also recognized members of Π.Ε.Δ.ΔΗ.Χ. – Πανελλήνια Ένωση Δασκάλων Δημοτικού Χορού.
